Statue of King William in Market Place. It is said that the sculptor of this commited suicide when he realised he had forgotten to include stirrups.

Here is a sight unique to Hull. The city has the only independent telephone company in the UK. Because of this our phone boxes are white, not red as in other parts of the country  
Pictures of the world famous Humber Bridge. When built, this was the longest single span suspension bridge in the world. Sadly it has now been pushed into 4th place. However it is still the longest in Europe (for now!)
  Princes Quay shopping centre has been built over Princes Dock in the centre of the city, and has many famous names. Johnathon Elvidge founded his Gadget Shop chain with his first store here. He is now repeating this with his latest venture Red5
Another derelict dock was revamped as the citys Marina, and attracts boats from all parts of the world.
