Welcome to the Tullock pages

Welcome to the home page of the Tullock family. Or at least my branch of it. On the left are links to various pages which may be of interest to you. As I am currently researching my family history, I will be updating these pages as I discover further facts about my ancestors past. I will also try to add any links that Ifeel may be of interest to web surfers.

My home town of Hull, East Yorkshire has a rich history founded on the fishing industry. As a major port for Europe, Hull stands at the end of the M62 motorway, which is a primary route across the Pennines to the west of England, and consequently has superb transport links to all parts of the country. Hull has many points of interest for tourists, and a few of these can be found by clicking on the 'Views of Hull' button on the left.

The Scottish surname of Tullock derives from the Picts, and is linked to the Ross Clan of Scotland. At the top left corner of this page is the Ross badge which appears on the family coat of arms. The motto translates as 'Success nourishes hope'.

You can read about the history of the Ross clan by clicking on the
relevant button on the left.
