Andrew Tullock

Andrew was born in Hull, on 27th January 1983. After a start to his education at Bricknell Primary School, he moved onto the illustrious William Gee Senior School, where he achieved GCSE passes in a wide range of subjects. As a keen Scout he won a place in his Scout pack football (soccer) team, as a defender. Never wanting to seek glory as a striker he always preferred a defensive position. In fact he was so proficient at stopping opponents charges, that he quickly earned the well deserved nickname of 'The Terminator' During his teenage years he participated actively in Sunday League football, where he maintained his favourite position in defence. A formidable defender, he often got into disagreements with forwards after halting numerous attempts to lodge the ball in his teams net, some he got away with, others led to the occasional dressing down or booking from the referee. This never seemed to curb his enthusiasm to turn out in all weathers to play his part.

Andrew studied Media, English Literature, and English Language at Trinity & All Saints College (An annex of Leeds University), with the aim of securing a career as a Journalist. He achieved a 2.1 degree and graduated from university in 2005. He has always dreamt of being a Sports Journalist since the age of about 9. Although he now informs us that he is seriously considering Producer / Director as a future. Andrew is the first of his line to enter University, and his family are very proud of him.

He is the elder brother of Amy, and as such they have a normal brother/sister relationship, complete with wild arguments and disagreements. But pity the person who upsets his sister, as Andrew is fiercely defensive of her and will stand up to anyone who attempts to harm her.

Andrew is currently carving a career as a manager at HMV's store in Selfridges in London.
